The “City of water” of Romagna Faentina is housed in the mighty fourteenth-century fortress, a medieval garrison that also belonged to Caterina Sforza and which today houses the Museum of the landscape of the Tuscan-Romagnolo Apennines.
The strengths of the city are health and well-being, with the spa immersed in a centuries-old park and sports (cycling above all) and nature, the Corolla delle Ginestre which can be traveled on foot, by mountain bike or on horseback, the cave of King Tiberius located in the best known regional park of the Vena del Gesso Romagnola.
Among the events that take place every year we point out the agricolture fair and exposition, the Halloween night ( Samhein ) and the festival of the shallot of Romagna PGI, a tasty and aromatic bulb, with a particular flavor, stronger and more fragrant than onion and sweeter than that of garlic.
