This municipality has two souls: one that is romantic, replete with history and one that is more modern and practical. The first can be found in the old town, perched on a hill dominated by its magnificent castle, host to biennal painted wall competition; the town is absolutely not to be missed, not only to pay a visit to the hilltop town, Dozza proper, which is included among "the most beautiful hamlets of Italy", but also to participate in the many events held there and take a peek in the basement of the castle where you can find the Enoteca Regionale dell'Emilia Romagna, a wine tasting and sales center for the board that promotes regional wines. Among the events, a special mention deserve Fantastika, the fantastic art biennial that takes place in the museum of the Rocca di Dozza board that promotes regional wines.
